VOCATIONAL CAMPAIGN AT THE SERVANTS OF MARY SISTERS OF DOUALA

From June 15 to 18, 2026, the Congregation of the Servants of Mary Sisters of Douala organized a vocational camp at the Chevreul Private College, as is their custom, for any young woman wishing to respond to the Lord's call within her heart.
Father Boris Bakalak, a priest of the Diocese of Edéa and Parish Priest of St. John the Baptist in Ndogbianga, skillfully led the camp, exploring the theme: "Vocation, a Gift from God for Mission," to help these young women discern their vocation in light of teachings based on the Word of God and the sharing of life experiences following the Virgin Mary, the Model of all vocations.

Following the exhortation of Pope Leo XIV, these young people amply demonstrated that peace and living together are possible and remain the cornerstone of all family and social life. Indeed, coming from different regions of our country, they lived in an atmosphere of prayer, fellowship, respect, acceptance of others, and forgiveness.
